ETH ZÜRICH

SEMPER SHELL

During my time at RAPLAB, ETH Zürich I worked on a thin walled, sculpted exhibition piece made of a acrylic plaster compound.

I sculpted wet clay on top of a wooden base. Then I converted that form using a 2K glassfiber reinforcement and a silicone mold.

The end product, a very thin shell, was part of an exhibition in the Semper hall of the ETH Zürich mainbuilding.

Check out the following "Making Of" I recorded during the production.
