PRADA TOKYO

AR INTERACTIVE MIRROR

Back in 2002 I worked on a augmented reality installation prototype for Herzog and De Meuron's Prada building in Tokyo.
Using provided, real Prada bags as reference, I modelled and textured 3D representations and prototyped the system.
A virtual mirror tracks the Prada logo on shopping bags.
The customer is presented with a selection of different bags and can select a bag of choice.
The customer then can interact with the virtual Prada bag, come near and move it as it were a real bag.
